In 1961 the specialist in internal medicine and radiology  opened his first medical practice in Hauptstra\u00dfe 71. In 1974 Dr. Helmut Bergdolt initiated and organized the “\u00c4rztehaus Schlo\u00dfstra\u00dfe” as a specialist center and thus entered absolutely new territory in the established medical care. Since then, the name Bergdolt has stood for a reliable institution in outpatient general and specialist medical treatment.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the pioneering work of Dr. Helmut Bergdolt, “Wiesloch” also became a household name in preventive medicine. The pilot project developed by him in 1973 to reduce cardiovascular risk factors is still referred to today by the World Health Organization (WHO) as the “Wiesloch Model”. The “Municipal Prevention \/ EberbachWiesloch Model” programme that followed in 1976 also gained international recognition.<\/p>\n

Expansion into a medical care centre<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In 1997 Dr. Holger Bergdolt joined his father’s practice. Together with the partners Dr. Reinhold Reitter and Dr. Stefan Fiederling, who have since left the practice, Dr. Bergdolt Senior and Junior expanded the practice into a medical care center (MVZ) in the 2000s.<\/p>\n

Since then, the MVZ Wiesloch has had a large outpatient and general practitioner consultation hour as well as a specialist practice for cardiology\/angiology and a specialist practice for gastroenterology.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

today manages the MVZ Wiesloch together with Priv.-Doz. Dr. Ralf Bauer. The specialist for internal medicine and general medicine has a special focus on the field of preventive medicine. Dr. Holger Bergdolt offers individual health check-ups to identify health risks and thus diagnose diseases at an early stage and make them more treatable.<\/p>\n

In 2015, Dr. Holger Bergdolt was nominated for the FelixBurda Award in the category “Commitment of the Year” for his medical contribution to the campaign “Mayors fight against colorectal cancer in Wiesloch and Dielheim with a municipal project”.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
